Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing UHM Studio. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. We look forward to seeing you for your upcoming booking.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. This is a mobile only service. The minimum call out service fee is $200. Travel charges apply for all mobile work.

2. All UHM Studio prices are subject to change without notice.

3. All bookings made with UHM Studio are confirmed only once a booking deposit has been received. 

4. Bookings are not held or secured without a deposit payable upon booking.

5. Client(s) for any kind of makeup application booking must be prepared to start at the booked start time with a clean face without any sort of makeup or fake tan (on the face) to avoid additional fee for removal.

5a. UHM Studio may refuse service if any active contagious skin or health conditions appear on the client(s) on the day of the booking such as cold sores, pink eye, and/or contagious influenza to name a few.

6. Client(s) for any hair styling booking must have their hair ready at the booked start time according to prep guidance given by the hair stylist(s). Failure to do so will incur additional charges for any procedures needed to be done to prepare the hair for styling. For example; if hair is wet on arrival, the client will be charged an extra fee for blow drying.

6a. Unless booked for a hair blow wave service, if hair can not be styled without washing, UHM Studio will refuse service. 

7. UHM Studio has the right to  take and publish images/footage of the client/s on it's website, social media and/or other promotional material. 

8. Client(s) will be charged a late fee of $25.00 for every 15 minutes of delay caused by client during a full priced appointment.

9. UHM Studio has the right to cancel your appointment with no refund on deposit if there is a client delay of more than 15 mins.

10. Bridal Trials are mandatory. Bridal Bookings are not taken without trial.

11. Client(s) agree to hold responsibility of reporting any skin conditions or sensitivities to the makeup artist prior to application.

PAYMENT

1. All bookings require a non refundable non transferable deposit of 50% of the total price for service to secure the booking within 24hours of receiving the quote. Failure to do so will result in the booking to be cancelled.

TRAVEL

1. An early call out fee of $30 will apply for bookings starting at 7am or earlier (including travel time). This means if traveling to you requires us to depart earlier than 7am, you will be charged an early start fee.

​2. All travel costs are quoted for mobile jobs.

3. Travel costs may include but not limited to parking costs, valet costs, and/or toll fees. 

4. Travel costs for interstate and overseas bookings may include (but are not limited to): airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, service incidentals and/or all taxes. 

COVID-19 LOCKDOWN/RESTRICTIONS

In the case of an unexpected COVID-19 lockdown and/or restrictions:

  1. Booking deposits are not refundable and/or transferable.

  2. Bookings can be postponed to another date provided UHM Studio is available on that date.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES

  1. In the event that UHM Studio is unable to perform the services agreed upon, UHM Studio will allocate another hair and/or makeup  artist to the client(s). 

  2. Any changes and/or cancellations of booking dates and/or times by the client(s) will forfeit the booking with no return on the deposit; and will require a new booking with a new deposit to be made at time of booking.

  3. For all bridal/wedding bookings with less than 62 days notice of any reductions in the booked number of people will not incur any changes to the quoted price.

  4. UHMSTUDIO HAS THE RIGHT TO CANCEL/REFUSE/ABORT SERVICE TO ANYONE if our staff member(s) feel uncomfortable, threatened, verbally and/or physically abused in any way. Legal charges will be made for any kind of abuse, threat, and/or violence on any of the UHM Studio staff member(s).
